The Tetra Pak Benelux factory is looking for a Section Head Maintenance who will drive our Maintenance Standards and Processes, to become World Class standard. This ambition requires a resourceful Manager, with a strong sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive to get things done, with emphasis on working with and through people in the process. The person we are looking for responds positively and actively to challenge and pressure and has confidence in his/her ability to handle problems and people.

Main Responsibilities
The Section Head Maintenance is managing technicians in shifts and daytime and also a team working on Off Line Maintenance. He/she reports to the Technical Service Manager. Together with his team the person we are looking for develops, plans, and executes preventive maintenance. He/she ensures that breakdowns will be repaired in an efficient way, analyses reasons and eliminates further occurrences of breakdowns.
Further responsibilities
- Be the driver of Continuous Improvement and World Class Manufacturing in the department.
- Accurate preparation and planning for Preventive Maintenance stops.
- Control of the analyses in case of breakdowns and train in analyses.
- Improvement of the Planned Maintenance system.
- Actively participate in the daily Maintenance meeting.
- Execute improvements as outcome of analyses.
- Take care of optimal communication between the maintenance and production department.
- Organize the staffing of the department.
- Create and evaluate the training plan for the department.
- Coach, train, motivate and stimulate technicians.
- Take care of appraisals and feedback to technicians.
- Plan and manage subcontractors when needed.
- Take in account legal demands and specifications in the production process.

Technical University or HTS degree in mechanical/electrical engineering. Management experience in maintenance, solid technical knowledge. Experience in planning and good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Dutch and German preferred.
Personal qualifications
As a person you are proactive with a strong personal drive and results oriented. You are structured and have a strong sense of urgency. You have very good interpersonal and communication skills including the abilities to use informal authority and drive change management.
