Packaging Development is responsible for developing innovative and creative packaging solutions, value engineering, artwork control and packaging waste data reporting.
|
|
A. Key Accountabilities:
1. Introduce and develop using Project Management tools, new Artworks and packaging options and solutions to meet requirements of approved Gate documents.
2. Develop new innovative packaging formats with particular emphasis on printed kraft paper, laminate films, rigid bottles, cartons, and corrugated technology.
3. Creation of specifications for components to meet: consumer requirements, functional parameters, cost targets and supply chain requirements.
4. Have a broad understanding of the impact that packaging has on the Supply chain of various products. Experience in advising on technical performance of packs

Essential
1. Experience of Packaging Development
2. Organised and methodical with an aptitude for problem solving
3. Experience of collaborating across business functions and at all levels
4. Appreciation of a broad range of packaging materials and printing methods including, gravure, flexo, digital and litho.
5. Print pass approval
Desirable
1.Educated to Degree level or equivalent
2.Experience gained within the Food Manufacturing Industry or FMCG
3.IoP packaging Diploma
4.Previous experience of project management
5.Knowledge of packaging waste legislation
6. Experience of GMP and Supplier audits
