· As part of the European Metal Industries team you will be servicing the existing Key Customer Base (75% in The Netherlands and 25% in Belgium) and actively develop new business opportunities with the major players in the Steel and Metals Industry.
· Supported by a team of experts you will act as the customer´s point of contact for any products and/or services offered by Signode before and after sales.
· Your other activities will involve continuous improvement (on productivity & packaging), including the sale of handtools, capital equipment and the development of new products. You are responsible for maintaining, improving and creating the customer files and new development projects, including reference visits, analysis, economical justifications, demonstrations and presentations to customers, updating of service contracts etc.
· You will report to the General Manager of Metals for the UK & Benelux and you will coordinate with other European Sales Units and with the Dutch/Belgian Parts and Service Team.

· For this challenging position we are looking for a professional with a technical background and a successful commercial B-to-B experience. Packaging Industry experience and knowledge of the steel and metals industry are assets but not a real requirement.
· Above all you are a competitive, flexible and resourceful self-starter with very good communication skills. You are open-minded and mobile and you are able to deal with all levels at customer accounts.
· You are a strategic and innovative thinker with project management skills and a good technical ability and understanding.
· You have a good financial ability to prepare economical justifications and contribution reports to support sales development into Key Account Groups.
· Commercially you are clever, persuasive and full of initiative. You have value added selling skills.
· You are fluent in Dutch and English and an experienced MS Office user.
