RISI is the leading information provider for the global forest products industry. Headquartered in the US, with offices in Europe, Asia and Latin America, we are looking to expand our editorial team in Europe. We are seeking an experienced reporter/editor to produce weekly market and price reports on the European pulp and paper market for our leading publication, PPI This Week, as well as covering daily news about the industry for our online service.

The position requires an articulate and numerate graduate with an analytical mind. The successful candidate will have excellent interviewing and writing skills and the ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines. Accuracy, initiative and good inter-personal skills are also required for this position.

Applicants will need to be English native speaker standard. Knowledge of the paper industry is desirable, but experience in a similar sector (metals, chemicals, printing, plastic, etc) would also be an advantage. Candidates must have good working knowledge of one or more European languages in addition to English. Preference will be given to candidates with journalistic experience. The post will be based in Brussels, includes some travel opportunities and comes with an attractive remuneration package.
